Students must apply for a place on every meditation course they wish to attend. All applicants have to fill out and submit an online application form which can be found on the courses page. It is not possible to apply by phone or email.

Rides can be shared. If you are looking for a ride or would like to offer one, you may use our Rideshare board to do this.

Before applying for a course, it is important to read carefully the Code of Discipline.

In 2026, the Romanian Vipassana Foundation will organise four 10-day courses and three 3-day courses for old students.

A 3-day course will take place from April 1 to April 5, 2026.
Registration for this course starts on January 31, 2026, at 8 p.m.

A 10-day course will take place from April 6 to April 17, 2026.
Registration for this course starts on February 7, 2026, at 8 p.m.

Another 10-day course will take place from April 18 to April 29, 2026.
Registration for this course starts on February 21, 2026, at 8 p.m

A 3-day course for old students will take place from September 2 to September 6, 2026.
Registration for this course starts on July 4, 2026, at 8 p.m.

A 10-day course will take place from September 7 to September 18, 2026.
Registration for this course starts on July 11, 2026, at 8 p.m.

A 10-day course will take place from September 19 to September 30, 2026.
Registration for this course starts on July 25, 2026, at 8 p.m.

A 3-day course for old students will take place from October 1 to October 5, 2026.
Registration for this course starts on August 8, 2026, at 8 p.m.

The courses will be held in the village of Chiuruș, at the Debreczi tourist complex, near the city of Covasna. All courses in 2026 are mixed-gender.
